Calling the Disciples
Jesus called His first disciples, including Peter, Andrew, James, and John, and told them they would become fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). They left their work and followed Him.
Temptation in the Wilderness
After His baptism, Jesus went into the wilderness for forty days where He was tempted by the devil but did not sin (Matthew 4:1-11). This event showed His obedience and preparation for His ministry.
Jesus Baptism
Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, and the Holy Spirit descended on Him like a dove while a voice from heaven declared Him to be God's Son (Matthew 3:16-17). This event marked the beginning of Jesus' public ministry.
