
Conversion of Paul
Saul, who persecuted Christians, encountered a bright light and the voice of Jesus on the road to Damascus and became a follower of Jesus and later the apostle Paul (Acts 9:1-19).
Pentecost
On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples, and they began speaking in different languages and preaching about Jesus. Many people believed and the early church began (Acts 2:1-4).
The Ascension
After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples for forty days and then ascended into heaven from the Mount of Olives while they watched (Acts 1:9-11). Before ascending, He told them they would receive the Holy Spirit and be His witnesses.
