"It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" is a popular Christmas song written in 1963 by George Wyle and Edward Pola. It was recorded and released that year by pop singer Andy Williams. The song is a celebration and description of activities associated with the Christmas season, focusing primarily on get-togethers between friends and families. Among the activities included in the song is the telling of "scary ghost stories," a Victorian Christmas tradition that has mostly fallen into disuse, but survives in the seasonal popularity of numerous adaptations of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Other activities mentioned include hosting parties, spontaneous visits from friends, universal social gaiety, spending time with loved ones, sledding for children, roasting marshmallows, sharing stories about previous Christmases, and singing Christmas carols in winter weather.
George Wyle was the vocal director of The Andy Williams show. He wrote all of the choir stuff and all of the duets and trios and things that Andy did with all the guests. He wrote this song just for the show – the second Christmas show Williams did - and it became a very popular Christmas standard.

LYRICS:
In your heart you know it's true
Though you hold no expectation
In the deepest part of you
There's an open hesitation

But it's true, kingdoms and crowns
A God who came down to find you
It's true angels on high
Sing through the night, Alleluia

Heard it told you, think it's odd
The whole thing fraught with complication
The play begins with Baby God
And all His blessed implications

But it's true, kingdoms and crowns
A God who came down to find you
It's true angels on high
Sing through the night, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

But it's true, kingdoms and crowns
A God who came down to find you
It's true angels on high
Sing through the night, Alleluia

But it's true, kingdoms and crowns
A God who came down to find you
It's true, oh, angels on high
Sing through the night, Alleluia

In your heart you know it's true
In the deepest part of you
It's true, it's true

This is my season for grace for favor
This is my season to reap what I have sown

This is my season for grace for favor, yeah
This is my season to reap what I have sown

See, I haven't been perfect, but I sure been faithful
See, God's got a purpose yes and I know he's able

I've got a seed in the ground, that he's blessing no more stressing
I've got a seed in the ground, now I know him I can show him

This is my season for grace for favor
This is my season to reap what I have sown

This is my season for grace for favor, yeah
This is my season to reap what I have sown

Listen, everything is working together for my good
Everything is working (Don't feel good) together for my good
Everything is working together for my good

LYRICS:
This is the moment
It's on the line
Which way you gonna fall?
In the middle between
Wrong and right
But you know after all

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door
It's your life

Are you who you always said you would be?
With a sinking feeling in your chest
Always waiting on someone else to fix you
Tell me when did you forget

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door

To live the way that you believe
This is your opportunity
To let your life be one that lights the way, yeah

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door

It's your life
What you gonna do?
The world is watching you
Every day the choices you make
Say what you are and who
Your heart beats for
It's an open door

It's your life (it's your life)
It's your life

1 My Lord has garments so wondrous fine,
and myrrh their texture fills;
its fragrance reached to this heart of mine,
with joy my being thrills.

Refrain:
Out of the ivory palaces
into a world of woe,
only his great eternal love
made my Savior go.

2 His life had also its sorrows sore,
for aloes had a part;
and when I think of the cross he bore,
my eyes with teardrops start. [Refrain]
3 His garments, too, were in cassia dipped,
with healing in a touch;
each time my feet in some sin have slipped,
he took me from its clutch. [Refrain]

4 In garments glorious he will come,
to open wide the door;
and I shall enter my heavenly home,
to dwell forevermore. [Refrain]

This beautiful hymn is a well known piece of Georgian Chant. This particular mode is from the Sunday after ash Wednesday.
The Latin lyrics and English translation follow:
Jacta cogitatum tuum in Domino, et ipse te enutriet. Dum clamarum ad Dominum, exaudivit vocem meam ab his, qui appropinquant mihi.

Cast thy care upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee. While the claim to the Lord, He heard my voice, from them that draw near to me.

LYRICS:
[Verse 1]
Consider the lilies of the field
Solomon dressed in royal robes
Has not the worth of them
Consider the lilies of the field
He takes after each and every need
Leave all your cares behind
Seek Him and you will find
Your Father loves you so
Consider the creatures of the air
For all of the diamonds in all the earth
Have not the wealth of them
Consider the creatures of the air
Jehovah loves them with tender hand
He knows your every care
His touch is always there
To see you through the night

[Chorus]
And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let you go
And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

[Verse 2]
Consider the lilies of the field
For how much more does He love His own
If Yahweh cares for them
Consider the creatures of the air
He takes after each and every need
If we ask Him for bread
Will He give us a stone?
Jehovah loves His own

[Chorus]
And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go
And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let you go

And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go
And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go
And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go
And Jehovah, I love You so
And Jesus, I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

[Outro]
Never let You go
Never go
