LYRICS:
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up
Shining in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love

As we sing holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
We want to see You
(I want to see You)
Shining in the light of your glory
Lord, Pour out your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
(You are)
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you
Holy, holy, holy
(You are)
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
I want to see you
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you
I want to see you
I want to see you...
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see you, I want to see you
I want to see you
I want to see you...

LYRICS:
We've waited for this day
We're gathered in Your name
Calling out to You
Your glory like a fire, awakening desire
Will burn our hearts with truth

You're the reason we're here
You're the reason we're singing

Open up the heavens, we wanna see You
Open up the floodgates, a mighty river
Flowing from Your heart, filling every part of our praise

Your presence in this place
Your glory on our face
We're looking to the sky
Descending like a cloud
You're standing with us now
Lord unveil our eyes

You're the reason we're here
You're the reason we're singing

So open up the heavens, we wanna see You
Open up the floodgates, a mighty river
Flowing from Your heart, filling every part of our praise

Open up the heavens, we wanna see You
Open up the floodgates, a mighty river
Flowing from Your heart, filling every part of our praise

Show us, show us Your glory
Show us, show us Your power
Show us, show us Your glory Lord

Show us, show us Your glory
Show us, show us Your power
Show us, show us Your glory Lord
We wanna see You, we wanna see You

Open up the heavens, we wanna see You
Open up the floodgates, a mighty river
Flowing from Your heart, filling every part of our praise
We sing, sing

Open up the heavens, we wanna see You
Open up the floodgates, a mighty river
Flowing from Your heart, filling every part of our praise
We sing, sing

While you are working, help me be still
Satan is busy, god is real

Briddle my tongue let my words edify
Let the words of my mouth be acceptable in thy sight
Take charge of my thoughts both day and night
Order my steps in your word

LYRICS:
I? ve been sitting here for way too long
It? s time that I was moving on, oh, oh, yeah
I know that there? s a better way
I think I? m going to make a change, oh yeah

So come along now to where I? m going

Take me to the other side
? Cause I need something better, yeah, yeah
Take me to the other side
? Cause I want to live forever

One thing that? s for sure I know
This won? t be an easy road, oh no, no, no
Let me ask before I leave
Won? t you come along with me, yeah?

Take me to the other side
? Cause I need something better, yeah, yeah, yeah
Take me to the other side
? Cause I want to live forever, live forever, yeah
Oh, take me to the other side, oh yeah

So come along now to where I? m going
Come along now to where I? m going

Take me to the other side
? Cause I need something better, yeah, yeah, yeah
Take me to the other side
? Cause I want to live forever, live forever, yeah

Take me to the other side
Take me to the other side
Take me to the other side
? Cause I want to live forever, live forever, yeah

Take me to the other side

LYRICS:
Love, flawless unrelenting love we can know
Hope, sacred reverential hope starts to glow

In the recesses of your heart where love had flown

Sweet dreams of heaven changing our waking lives
Breath, taken in and bringing what was dead to life

In the recesses of your heart where love had died
Let it rise and lead you cross a great divide

Awake, looking for another way to get back home
Life, resurrected, swallowed death made us whole

In the recesses of your heart where love will grow
Heaven give us roots and wings and lead us home

Oh

Oh great God give us rest
No more fear from all of this
Oh great God give us rest
Let your light come down on us
Oh great God give us rest

Tenebrae (Latin for 'darkness') is a religious service of Western Christianity held during the three days preceding Easter Day, and characterized by gradual extinguishing of candles, and by a "strepitus" or "loud noise" taking place in total darkness near the end of the service.
Tenebrae was originally a celebration of matins and lauds of the last three days of Holy Week (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday) in the evening of the previous day (Holy Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday) to the accompaniment of special ceremonies that included the display of lighted candles on a special triangular candelabra

LYRICS:
Water, You turned into wine
Opened the eyes of the blind
There's no one like You
None like You

Into the darkness, You shine
Out of the ashes we rise
There's no one like You
None like You

Our God is greater
Our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer
Awesome in power
Our God, our God

Into the darkness, You shine
Out of the ashes, we rise
There's no one like You
None like You

Our God is greater
Our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer
Awesome in power
Our God, our God

Our God is greater
Our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer
Awesome in power
Our God, our God

And if our God is for us
Then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us
Then what could stand against?

And if our God is for us
Then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us
Then what could stand against?

Then what could stand against?

Our God is greater
Our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer
Awesome in power
Our God, our God

Our God is greater
Our God is stronger
God, You are higher than any other
Our God is healer
Awesome in power
Our God, our God

And if our God is for us
Then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us
Then what could stand against?

And if our God is for us
Then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us
Then what could stand against?

What could stand against?
What could stand against? (What could stand)

The song’s lyrics focus on the greatness and power of God. It speaks of how God reigns over all things and how nothing is too difficult for Him. The song is a powerful reminder of God’s sovereignty, and many people find comfort and hope in the words.
The first verse of “Our God” sets the tone for the entire song. It speaks of God’s power and how He is able to make the impossible possible. The lyrics read:

Water you turned into wine,
Opened the eyes of the blind,
There’s no one like you,
None like you.

The verses allude to the events captured in the Bible, highlighting how the Lord performed miracles and brought light into the lives of those who had lost hope. The verse highlights His divine acts of turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana (John 2:1-11), and bringing sight to the blind (Matthew 9:27-30).

The chorus of “Our God” is simple but powerful. It proclaims God’s sovereignty and reminds us of His greatness. The words to the chorus are:

Our God is greater, our God is stronger,
God, you are higher than any other.
Our God is healer, awesome in power,
Our God, Our God.

The chorus sets the foundation for the song’s message, that God is greater, stronger, and higher than any other. The sentence, “Our God is healer, awesome in power,” reassures us that God is able to heal every disease and is omnipotent.

The second verse of “Our God” references the creation story in the Bible, depicting how all things were created by God. The words read:

Into the darkness you shine,
Out of the ashes we rise,
There’s no one like you,
None like you.

The verse reminds us that when we feel lost, when we have given up hope, God is there for us. Through His light, He leads us out of the darkness and into the light, giving us hope and blessing our lives.

The bridge of “Our God” is a powerful declaration of faith. It states that God is with us and that nothing can stand against Him. The words to the bridge are:

And if our God is for us,
Then who could ever stop us,
And if our God is with us,
Then what could stand against.

The bridge is coupled with a strong vocal and musical arrangement, which further underscores the power of the lyrics.
The song is based on the bible. The lyrics draw references from various parts of the Bible, including the water to wine story in John 2:1-11, the healing of the blind man in Matthew 9:27-30, and the creation story in Genesis.
