Miserere nostri (Have mercy on us) is an astoundingly ingenious canon. Most obvious is the canon between the two top voices which sing the same line throughout but half a bar apart. Meanwhile, however, a different and less audible canon is in progress between four of the five lower voices: all start singing the same melody at the same time but at four different speeds, two of them in inversion. By bar 6, the Second Bass has already sung the whole of the part assigned to the slowest singer, the First Bass. Amazingly, this process not only works but produces convincing harmonies which sound as if they are the very goal of this understandably short piece.
Stile Antico is a British vocal ensemble, specializing in polyphonic early music composed prior to the eighteenth century. Like groups such as the Tallis Scholars or The Sixteen, it has roots in the choral tradition of the Oxford and Cambridge colleges, but, unusually for groups tackling complex polyphony, Stile Antico has no conductor.

LYRICS IN ENGLISH:
I'm calling on the God of Jacob
Whose love endures through generations
I know that You will keep Your covenant

I'm calling on the God of Moses
The one who opened up the ocean
I need You now to do the same thing for me
For me, for me

O God, my God, I need You
O God, my God, I need You now
How I need You now
O Rock, O Rock of ages
I'm standing on Your faithfulness
On Your faithfulness

I'm calling on the God of Mary
Whose favor rests upon the lowly
I know with You all things are possible

I'm calling on the God of David
Who made a shepherd boy courageous
I may not face Goliath
But I've got my own giants

O God, my God, I need You
O God, my God, I need You now
How I need You now, yes
O Rock, O Rock of ages
I'm standing on Your faithfulness
On Your faithfulness

O God, my God, I need You (I need You Lord)
O God, my God, I need You now
How I need You now, yeah
O Rock, O Rock of ages
I'm standing on Your faithfulness
On Your faithfulness

It's your faithfulness I'm standing on
Never changes, never changes

You heard Your children then
You hear Your children now
You are the same God
You are the same God

You answered prayers back then
And You will answer now
You are the same God
You are the same God

You were providing then
You are providing now
You are the same God (You are the same)
You are the same God

You moved in power then
God, move in power now
You are the same God
You are the same God

You were a healer then
You are a healer now
You are the same God
You are the same God

You were a savior then
You are a savior now
You are the same God
You are the same God

O God, my God, I need You (lift it up)
O God, my God, I need You now (how we need You now)
How I need You now (we stand in faithfulness)
O Rock, O Rock of ages
I'm standing on Your faithfulness
Oh, on Your faithfulness

O God, my God, I need You
O God, my God, I need You now
How I need You now (oh-oh)
O Rock, O Rock of ages
I'm standing on Your faithfulness
On Your faithfulness

On Your faithfulness, God
You're faithful God
Jesus, You're the same
Yesterday, today, and forever

You're the same God (yes, You are)
You're the same God
This is who we worship tonight, yeah
He's the same, He's the same, oh God
How I need You, yeah
How I need You, yeah

You freed the captives then
You're freeing hearts right now
You are the same God
You are the same God

You touched the lepers then
I feel Your touch right now
You are the same God
You are the same God

Never changing
Oh, forever
We feel You now
You're the same God
You're the same God, yeah
How we need You now, yeah

I'm calling on the Holy Spirit
Almighty River, come and fill me again
(Let that be your prayer tonight)
Come and fill me again
(Come and fill me)
Come and fill me again

LYRICS:
Let worship be the fuel for mission's flame
We're going with a passion for Your name
We're going for we care about Your praise
Send us out

Let worship be the heart of mission's aim
To see the nations recognize Your fame
'Til every tribe and tongue voices Your praise
Send us out

You should be the praise of every tongue
You should be the joy of every heart
But until the fullness of Your kingdom comes
Until that final revelation dawns
Send us out

Let worship be the fuel for mission's flame
We're going with a passion for Your name
We're going for we care about Your praise
Send us out, out

You should be the praise of every tongue, Jesus
You should be the joy of every heart
But until the fullness of Your kingdom comes
Until that final revelation dawns
Send us out

Every tribe, every tongue
Every creature in the heavens and the earth
Every heart, every soul
Will sing Your praise, will sing Your praise
Every note, every strain
Every melody will be for You alone
Every harmony that flows from every tongue
We'll sing Your praise, we'll sing Your praise
We'll sing Your praise, we'll sing Your praise

You should be the praise of every tongue, Jesus
You should be the joy of every heart, oh

You should be the praise of every tongue, Lord
You should be the joy of every heart
But until the fullness of Your kingdom comes
Until that final revelation dawns, You will surely come
Send us out, cry it out to Him

Send us out, give Him yourself
Send us, oh, send us out
Cry it out
Send us out, we are Yours
Send us out, use us, Lord
Send us out, fill us, Lord
Send us out

Let worship be the fuel for mission's flame
We're going with a passion for Your name
We're going for we care about Your praise
Send us out
Send us out
Send us out
Send us out

LYRICS:
Empty reasons for my past
Excuses do not hold
I'm struck with my affliction
An inner perfect storm
Why didn't someone warn me
To save me from my self
The pain is self inflicted
The decisions were my own

Now listen to history

[CHORUS:]
There's so much I could say
There's so much that I've learned don't make my mistake
There's no time to delay
Take my hand and learn from my heartache

Take a look into the past see all the things I've tried
Looking for a truth inside but only finding pain

See these deep and painful scars, cutting to the bone
Do you want to look like me? With a broken, empty life
Now listen to history

[CHORUS:]
There's so much I could say
There's so much that I've learned don't make my mistake
There's no time to delay
Take my hand and learn from my heartache

[BRIDGE:]
Some things you may never understand
But knowledge from lessons not your own
Can save you from the unknown which may stop your fall

[CHORUS:]
There's so much I could say
There's so much that I've learned don't make my mistake
There's no time to delay
Take my hand and learn from my heartache

[CHORUS:]
There's so much I could say
There's so much that I've learned don't make my mistake
There's no time to delay
Take my hand and learn from my heartache

LYRICS:
It's the most beautiful time of the year
Lights fill the streets, spreading so much cheer
I should be playing in the winter snow
But I'ma be under the mistletoe
I don't wanna miss out on the holiday
But I can't stop staring at your face
I should be playing in the winter snow
But I'ma be under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you, under the mistletoe

Everyone's gathering around the fire
Chestnuts roasting like a hot July
I should be chilling with my folks, I know
But I'ma be under the mistletoe
Word on the street, Santa's coming tonight
Reindeer's flying through the sky so high
I should be making a list, I know
But I'ma be under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you, under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you, under the mistletoe

Ayy love
The wise men followed the star (the wise men followed the star)
The way I followed my heart
And it led me to a miracle
Ayy love (ayy love)
Don't you buy me nothing (don't you buy me nothing)
'Cause I am feeling one thing, your lips on my lips
That's a merry, merry Christmas

It's the most beautiful time of the year
Lights fill the streets, spreading so much cheer
I should be playing in the winter snow
But I'ma be under the mistletoe
I don't wanna miss out on the holiday
But I can't stop staring at your face
I should be playing in the winter snow
But I'ma be under the mistletoe

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you, under the mistletoe (yeah)

With you, shawty with you
With you, shawty with you
With you, under the mistletoe (under the mistletoe)

Kiss me underneath the mistletoe (kiss me underneath the mistletoe)
Show me, baby, that you love me so-oh-oh, oh, oh, oh (oh, oh, oh, yeah)
Kiss me underneath the mistletoe (kiss me underneath the mistletoe)
Show me, baby, that you love me so-oh-oh, oh, oh, oh (whoa, whoa)

The song was written by Frank Sinatra, Dok Stanford and Hank Sanicola. "Mistletoe and Holly" with Orchestra Conducted by Gordon Jenkins was released as a single in 1957. The single did not make it onto the popularity charts
The song was selected as the theme song for the 1960 Christmas Seals appeal.

LYRICS:
6: 30 Monday morning
I'm here hiding in my bed
A song plays on my alarm clock
As I cover up my head
But somewhere in the distance
I remember yesterday
Singing "Hallelujah"
Full of wonder, awe and grace
But now I'm just wondering
Why I don't feel anything
At all

This is a moment made for worshipping
Cause this is a moment I'm alive
And this is a moment I was made to sing
A song of living sacrifice
For every moment that I live and breathe
This is a moment made for worshipping

When I'm praying with my children
As they're running off to school
When I kiss my wife good morning
Just to say I still love you
When I'm feeling love and happy
When I'm feeling all alone
When I'm failing to remember
All the love that I've been shown
Every single beat of my heart
Is another new place to start
To know

This is a moment made for worshipping
Cause this is a moment I'm alive
And this is a moment I was made to sing
A song of living sacrifice
For every moment that I live and breathe
This is a moment made for worshipping

Every single beat of my heart
Is another new place to start
Right now

This is a moment made for worshipping
Cause this is a moment I'm alive
And this is a moment I was made to sing
A song of living sacrifice
For every moment that I live and breathe
This is a moment made for worshipping

From the rising of the sun
To the setting the sun
The name of the Lord is worthy to be praised

Ephesians 2:8. For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves. It is the gift of God

LYRICS:
I set my sights on shiny things
That crumble in the rust, that fade into the dust
I bought the lie that someday I would finally have enough
But it never is enough, so

Wake me up
From this slumber that I'm in
Take me up
To a brand-new horizon

Oh Lord, give me eyes to see
That what I need don't cost a thing
You fill my life
With somethin' money can't buy
I'm done chasin' after gold
Rip the price tag off my soul
You fill my life
With somethin' money can't buy

(Somethin' money, money)
Somethin' money can't buy
(Somethin' money, money)
(Somethin' money can't buy)

It's the peace that comes from perfect love
The wonder in the stars, the beating in my heart
Sometimes you gotta stop, and look at what you got
And that's when you realize, ooh, the gift it is to be alive

Oh Lord, give me eyes to see
What I need don't cost a thing
You fill my life
With somethin' money can't buy
I'm done chasin' after gold
Rip the price tag off my soul
You fill my life
With somethin' money can't buy (ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh)

(Ooh) Your love is all I've ever needed
Only You, only You can

Wake me up
From this slumber that I'm in
Take me up
To a brand-new horizon

Oh Lord, give me eyes to see
That what I need don't cost a thing
You fill my life
With somethin' money can't buy (somethin' money can money can't buy)
I'm done chasin' after gold
Rip the price tag off my soul (oh)
You fill my life
With somethin' money can't buy

(Oh, whoa-whoa) with somethin' money can't buy (money can't buy)
With somethin' money can't buy
I'm done chasin' after gold
Rip the price tag off my soul
You fill my life
With somethin' money can't buy

(Somethin' money, money)
Somethin' money can't buy
(Somethin' money, money) can't buy
Somethin' money can't buy
