LYRICS:
How many times can one heart break?
It was never supposed to be this way
Look in the mirror, but you find someone you never thought you'd be
Oh, but I can still recognize
The one I love in your tear stained eyes
I know you might not see him now, so lift your eyes to me
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home

You see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended

You see your worst mistake
But I see the price I paid
That there's nothing you could ever do, to lose what grace has won

So hold on, it's not the end
This is where love's work begins
I'm makin' all things new
And I will make a miracle of you

When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home

You see nothin' but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended

I see my child, my beloved
The new creation you're becoming
You see the scars from where you've fell
But I see the stories they will tell

You see worthless, but I see priceless
You see pain, but I see a purpose
You see unworthy, undeserving
But I see you through eyes of mercy

When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
You're not too far gone
You're one step away from home

When you see nothin' but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet (no)
When you see wounded, I see mended (ooh)

I see mended (woah)
Oh I see mended
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended

LYRICS:
Is it fair to say I was lured away?
By endless distractions and lovelier attractions then
Or fairer still, my own free will
Is the better one to blame for this familiar mess
I've made again

So I would understand if You were out of patience
And I would understand if I was out of chances

And Your mercies are new every morning
So let me wake with the dawn
When the music is through or so it seems to be
Then let me sing a new song, old things gone
Every day it's true, You make all Your mercies new

The distance left between East and West
Is how far You would go to forget the debt I'd owe
And thrown into the sea, the wicked ways in me
Will never have a chance to wash back on the sand

So I would understand if You would make me pay
And I would understand lying in the bed I made again

Your mercies are new every morning
So let me wake with the dawn
When the music is through or so it seems to be
Let me sing a new song, old things gone
Every day it's true, You make all Your mercies new

Up comes the sun on every one of us
Gone, gone, gone the guilt and shame that knew Your name

Your mercies are new every morning
So let me wake with the dawn
When the music is through or so it seems to be
Let me sing a new song, old things gone
Every day it's true, You make all Your mercies new

LYRICS:
Made from the dust and breathed into life
He stood unashamed with a fire in His eyes
The image of God walking upon the world

All of the Earth was under His feet
Except for the fruit from a forbidden tree
He took a taste and that's how He breaks the world

He cried, "Mercy, mercy"
He broke the whole world with the fruit from a tree, have mercy

Heaven to Earth came down from on high
With hope in His name and a fire in His eyes
The fullness of God walking upon the world

He said, "He was love then proved it with blood
Rose from the dead to prove He was God"
And that's what it takes for one man to save the world

Oh, such mercy, mercy
He saved the whole world, when He hung on a tree, such mercy

Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh

Now here inside of our skin and bones
Heaven above is making it's home
The kingdom of God living upon the world

To love like He loves and give like He gives
To tell the story that makes dead men live
And that's what it takes if we're gonna change the world

Mercy, mercy
Your love is a song, and You sing over me

Mercy

LYRICS:
Yeah, I dedicate this song to those that miss being dedicated
The world robbed you of your spiritual romance and you want to renew your vows
Jesus waits at the altar for you
He's not wearing a watch, so you still have time

[Verse 1: Choir]
Heavy heart at the start of the day light
In the sun or the rain, you will still shine
Wipe my eyes when I cry be my delight
When in doubt, then I realize
In the dark there you are
You’re still good, You’re still good
Life gеts hard falls apart
You’re still good, You’re still good

[Pre-Chorus: Choir]
I been shooting for the stars (shoot)
Just tryna bе where You are
It don’t matter what it cost (shoot)
I would rather lose it all
I been shooting for the stars (shoot)
Just tryna be where You are
It don’t matter what it cost (shoot)
I would rather lose it all

My life hit me, knocked me down you know I’m dizzy
Tried to sit me down in misery permanently
Sent me pain to keep me busy, I just juke like, “you can’t get me”
I get down like “can He hear me?” Can you feel me?
I know I be dodging arrows
I can’t conquer pharaohs
But He got His eye on sparrows
I can’t roam, it’s like I’m always home
Even in lion dens with friends I win, I’m not alone

[Pre-Chorus: Choir]
I been shooting for the stars (shoot)
Just tryna be where You are
It don’t matter what it cost (shoot)
I would rather lose it all
I been shooting for the stars (shoot)
Just tryna be where You are

I would rather lose it all

[Chorus: Choir]
Your mercy endureth forever and ever and ever
Your mercy endureth forever and ever and ever
[Verse 3: Trip Lee]
I sit back and oh I think, I’m so dirty, I know I stank
I need mercy, I know I rank beneath Him help me please Him, Spirit
Still I know He takes delight in me I’m wrong, He made me right
Remade me, saved me, gave me light
I need him, I can’t leave him, hear it
I know I can’t dive in shallow
Waters, help me follow
Your grace away from gallows
Watch me shoot my shot for the stars all I got
Is these promises from my Lord that’s my lot

[Pre-Chorus: Choir]
I been shooting for the stars (shoot)
Just tryna be where You are

[Chorus: Choir]
Your mercy endureth forever and ever and ever
Your mercy endureth forever and ever and ever

[Outro: Kirk Franklin]
That restlessness in your heart is because Heaven is calling
Yeah, yeah you feel it, we're strangers and aliens
Don't get too comfortable, don't get too fitted here
You're different, you're chosen, you're special, you’re His
And He's jealous for you. He's desperate for you
He wants you to understand there's something greater than in you
And it's coming, put Him first, seek Him first
That's your life, it's not just what you believe
It's who you are. You were destined for this, destined for Him
Hallelujah

"MERCY" Lyrics:
I’m living proof
Of what the mercy of God can do
If you knew me then
You’d believe me now
He turned my whole life upside down
He took the old and He made it new
That’s just what the mercy of God can do

Now I’m alive to tell the story
How I’ve overcome
It’s His goodness and mercy
And the power of His blood
I’m so glad that my freedom
Wasn’t based on what I’ve done
But His goodness and mercy
And the power of the blood

Thought I deserved
To be six feet beneath the earth
For all the things I’ve done
The things I’ve said
The choices made that I regret
Oh I would still be lost
But for the mercy of God

Was the cross meant for me
That my Savior carried
Now I’ve been made free
By the mercy of God
Was the grave meant for me
Where my sin lay buried
Now I stand redeemed
By the mercy of God

"WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS Lyrics:

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised
Thou wilt all our burdens bear;
May we ever, Lord, be bringing
All to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright, unclouded,
There will be no need for prayer—
Rapture, praise, and endless worship
Will be our sweet portion there.

LYRICS:
Once there was a holy place
Evidence of God's embrace
And I can almost see mercy's face
Pressed against the veil

Looking down with longing eyes
Mercy must have realized
That once His blood was sacrificed
Freedom would prevail

And as the sky grew dark
And the earth began to shake
With justice no longer in the way

Mercy came running
Like a prisoner set free
Past all my failures
To the point of my need
When the sin that I carried
Was all I could see
And when I could not reach mercy
Mercy came running to me

Once there was a broken heart
Way too human from the start
And all the years left you torn apart
Hopeless and afraid

Walls I never meant to build
Left this prisoner unfulfilled
Freedom called but even still
It seemed so far away

I was bound by the chains
From the wages of my sin
Just when I felt like giving in

Mercy came running
Like a prisoner set free
Past all my failures
To the point of my need
When the sin that I carried
Was all I could see
And when I could not reach mercy
Mercy came running to me

Sometimes I still feel so far
So far from where I really should be
He gently calls to my heart
Just to remind me

Mercy came running
Like a prisoner set free
Past all my failures
To the point of my need
When the sin that I carried
Was all I could see
And when I could not reach mercy
Mercy came running

Mercy came running
Like a prisoner set free
Past all my failures
To the point of my need
When the sin that I carried
Was all I could see
And when I could not reach mercy
Mercy came running

Mercy came running
Like a prisoner set free
Past all my failures
To the point of my need
When the sin that I carried
Was all I could see
And when I could not reach mercy
Mercy came running

LYRICS:
I was just a child, when I felt the Savior leading
I was drawn to what I could not understand
And for the cause of Christ, I have spent my days believing
That what he'd have me be, is who I am
As I've come to see the weaker side of me
I realize his grace is what I'll need
When sin demanded justice for my soul

Mercy said no
I'm not gonna let you go
I'm not gonna let you slip away
You don't have to be afraid
Mercy said no
Sin will never take control
Life and death stood face to face
Darkness tried to steal my heart away
Thank You Jesus, Mercy said no
For God so loved the world, that he sent his son to save us
From the cross He built a bridge to set us free
Oh, but deep within our hearts, there is still a war that rages
And makes a sacrifice so hard to see
As midnight fell upon the crucifixion day
The light of hope seemed oh so far away
As evil tried to stop redemption's flow

Mercy said no
I'm not gonna let you go
I'm not gonna let you slip away
You don't have to be afraid
Mercy said no
Sin will never take control
Life and death stood face to face
Darkness tried to steal my heart away
Thank You Jesus, Mercy said no
And now when heaven looks at me
It's through the blood of Jesus
Reminding me of one day long ago(Whaoo, no, no, no)
Mercy said no
I'm not gonna let you go
I'm not gonna let you slip away
You don't have to be afraid
Mercy said no
Sin will never take control
Life and death stood face to face
Darkness tried to steal my heart away(Ayy)
Thank You Jesus, Mercy said no

[Intro: Ed Sheeran]
Build the fire and gather 'round the tree
Fill the glass and maybe come and sing with me

[Chorus: Ed Sheeran & Elton John]
So kiss me under the mistletoe
Pour out the wine, let's toast and pray for December snow
I know there's been pain this year, but it's time to let it go
Next year, you never know
But for now, Merry Christmas, we'll
Dance in the kitchen while embers glow
We've both known love, but this love we got is the bеst of all
I wish you could see you through my eyes, then you would know
My God, you look bеautiful
Right now, Merry Christmas

[Verse 1: Ed Sheeran & Elton John]
The fire is raging on
And we'll all sing along to the song
Just having so much fun
While we're here, can we all
Spare a thought for the ones who have gone?
Merry Christmas, everyone

The lyrics were written in 1946 by 20-year-old Frank Pooler, which, according to him, were about a love interest he had at the time. 20 years later in 1966, when he was choral director at California State University, Long Beach, two of his aspiring music students, Karen and Richard Carpenter, who were beginning to have success as a local band, asked him (their favorite professor) if he had any ideas for holiday songs. According to Pooler, they had become tired of the standard holiday songs they were singing. Pooler gave them the lyrics of the song he had written from years before, and told them he did not think much of the original melody. According to Pooler, Richard wrote a new tune for the lyrics—the tune currently used—in 15 minutes. Four years later, in 1970, the Carpenters first recorded and released it as a single.
The single went to number one on Billboard's Christmas singles chart in 1970 (and did so again in 1971 and 1973.) Richard Carpenter himself calls the original recording one of his sister's very best.

LYRICS:
Are you hanging up your stocking on your wall?
It's the time when every Santa has a ball
Does he ride a red nosed reindeer?
Does a ton-up on his sleigh?
Do the fairies keep him sober for a day?

So here it is, merry Christmas
Everybody's having fun
Look to the future now
It's only just begun

Are you waiting for the family to arrive?
Are you sure you got the room to spare inside?
Does your granny always tell ya
That the old songs are the best?
Then she's up and rock 'n' rollin' with the rest

So here it is, merry Christmas
Everybody's having fun
Look to the future now
It's only just begun

What will your daddy do
When he sees your mama
Kissing Santa Claus?
A-ha

Are you hanging up your stocking on your wall?
Are you hoping that the snow will to start to fall?
Do you ride on down the hillside
In a buggy you have made?
When you land upon your head
Then you've been slayed

So here it is, merry Christmas
Everybody's having fun
Look to the future now
It's only just begun

So here it is, merry Christmas
Everybody's having fun
Look to the future now
It's only just begun

So here it is, merry Christmas
Everybody's having fun
Look to the future now
It's only just begun

So here it is, merry Christmas
Everybody's having fun (it's Christmas)
Look to the future now
It's only just begun

LYRICS:
Snow is fallin'
All around me
Children playin'
Having fun
It's the season
Love and understanding
Merry Christmas everyone

Time for parties and celebrations
People dancing all night long
Time for presents
And exchanging kisses
Time for singing Christmas songs

We're gonna have a party tonight
I'm gonna find that girl underneath the misteltoe
We'll kiss by candlelight

Room is swaying, records playing
All the old songs we love to hear
All I wish that everyday was Christmas
What a nice way to spend the year (woo, yeah)

We're gonna have a party tonight
I'm gonna find that girl underneath the mistletoe
We'll kiss by candlelight
