Edar

Edar, or the Tower of the Flock, was a place near Bethlehem where Jacob halted. In Micah, “tower of the flock” is used figuratively of Bethlehem and its royal significance.

Eden

Eden was the land in which God planted the garden where Adam and Eve lived before the Fall. The name means “delight,” and Eden is also used of a region and of a Levite in the time of Hezekiah.

Edom

Edom was the name given to Esau and to the mountainous land settled by his descendants southeast of Judah. The Edomites were related to Israel but frequently opposed the Israelites and were the subject of numerous prophetic judgments.
Edom, Idumaea Or Idumea

Edom, also called Idumea or Idumea, was the mountainous country of Esau’s descendants south and east of the Dead Sea. Its people repeatedly conflicted with Israel and were later subdued and incorporated into the Jewish nation under the Maccabees.
Edomites

The Edomites were the descendants of Esau who inhabited Edom, also called Mount Seir and Idumea. They were closely related to the Israelites but were often hostile toward them.

Edos was a man who agreed to put away his foreign wife after the exile. He is identified with Iddo, or Jadan, in the corresponding Ezra account.
Edrei

Edrei was a principal city of Bashan where Israel defeated Og, king of the Amorites; it was later allotted to Manasseh. Another Edrei was a town in the territory of Naphtali.
