Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, paired in Revelation with Omega, the last letter. Together they signify “the first and the last,” a title applied to Christ and expressing his divine eternity.
Aarat

Ararat was a mountainous region of the Armenian highlands. The ark came to rest among its mountains after the Flood, and the region is also mentioned as a refuge for Sennacherib’s sons and as an ally of Minni and Ashkenaz.
Aaron

Aaron was the elder brother of Moses and Miriam and the first high priest of Israel. He served as Moses’ spokesman, led Israel’s worship at the tabernacle, and was succeeded in the priesthood by his son Eleazar, though he was also involved in Israel’s sin at the golden calf and Meribah.

Abaddon

Abarim

Abarim was the mountain region east of the Jordan, in the land of Moab, facing Jericho. Mount Nebo and Pisgah were among its heights; from there Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death.

Abba
God - New Testament
Abba is an Aramaic word meaning “Father,” used as a warm and trusting form of address to God. Jesus used it in prayer, and believers use it through the Spirit as an expression of filial confidence in God.
