Dagon

Damaris was an Athenian woman who believed Paul’s message at the Areopagus. Scripture does not establish that she was the wife of Dionysius, though later tradition proposed this.

Damascenes were the inhabitants of Damascus. The term is used of the people under the authority of Aretas the Arabian in connection with Paul’s escape from Damascus.
