God’s Promises
1. The Nature of God's Promises

that He should change His mind (Numbers 23:19).
- Eternal Assurance: His promises are eternal, providing assurance beyond our temporal understanding. The grass withers
and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8).

faithful God, keeping His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 7:9).

- New Creation: Believers are promised a new identity in Christ. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old
has passed away; behold, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17).

will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

(Psalm 121:7).

make your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11).

heaven and earth had passed away (Revelation 21:1).

our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
