"Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Books

The Bible is not really a book, but instead, a library of books. These books were written over a period of about 1500 years, and despite their creation at different times and by different authors, they combine to tell a remarkably coherent story of God's creation, his relationship with mankind, and his plan of redemption.

The Tanakh, (Old Testament), is divided into works of Law, History, Poetry and Prophecy. The New Testament books contain Gospels, History, Letters and Prophecy.
