Exodus, Book of
The Book of Exodus is the second book of the Pentateuch. It records Israel’s growth in Egypt, deliverance through Moses, journey to Sinai, reception of the law, and construction of the tabernacle.
Biblical Usage
Exodus presents Israel as a priestly kingdom and holy nation. It records the giving of the law and the establishment of institutions that completed the organization of the people.
