ADD
To add is to put something in addition to what is already present. Scripture warns against adding unauthorized teaching to God’s revealed word.
Biblical Usage
Paul uses the idea of adding to a ratified human covenant as an illustration. Revelation warns against adding to or taking away from the book, including the interpolation of unauthorized doctrines or the neglect of essential teaching.
