"Nadab"

Nadab (r. 907-906 B.C.E.) – Jeroboam’s son who walked in his father’s footsteps, perpetuating the idolatrous cult of calves. After he besieged the Levitical town of Gibbeton to reclaim it from the Philistines, Nadab was conspired against and slain by his army officer Baasha, who usurped the throne and slew the remnants of Jeroboam’s line. Nadab does not appear in Chronicles.
