"David and Jonathan"

Jonathan and David had a spirit for God and both trusted God without reservation. They trusted one another in the same way. Jonathan’s faith in God’s righteousness gave him the boldness to reason with his father on David’s behalf. As best friends, Jonathan and David were vulnerable with one another. They knew each other well. As best friends, they were able to inspire and motivate one another in truth and honesty. We have seen this in their conversations and their actions.
