Dear Friend,
This has been a monumental summer as our nation looks back at 250 years. We thank God for His hand of blessing on this land and for the foundation of faith and liberty laid by our forefathers.
Much has changed since 1776, and our nation is increasingly turning away from God. Without God’s help, we won’t make it another 250 years—in fact, we might not even make it another 25. The only hope for America is Jesus Christ, and we must boldly declare our dependence on Him.
This fall, my son Will is heading to the region where our nation was born to hold the 13-state Declaration of Dependence Tour. He’s going to pray with believers in each of our original colonies and share the only message that brings true freedom: the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Will you stand with us in prayer for America and for this tour? If you live in one of these states, I hope you’ll start praying now for your unsaved friends and family, and then bring them to the tour event in your region this fall. Join us as we proclaim: “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36, NKJV).
This is a critical turning point in our history, and there’s nothing more powerful we can do for our country, our churches, and our families than to seek the Lord in repentance and prayer. The Bible promises us that “blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12, NKJV). Before it’s too late, it is my prayer that we will repent of our country’s wicked ways and turn our hearts to the Lord.
