Thereâs a still small voice that speaks above the noise of this world, but many of us have tuned it out. Just like physical hearing loss goes unnoticed until tested, spiritual deafness creeps in when we stop listening to God. We get distracted by chaos, crisis, and comfort. But make no mistakeâGod has a way of getting our attention. The Bible is filled with moments when He turned up the volumeâthrough earthquakes, through crisis, and through the undeniable movement of His hand. When Paul and Silas praised Him in prison, the earth shook. When Jesus rose, the stone rolled with power. Are you listening for Him?
Donât wait for a personal earthquake to hear Godâs voice. Heâs not pacing heaven, worried about worldly powersâHe laughs (Psalm 2:4) at manâs arrogance. Every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess. Whether itâs Omicron or a crisis in your life, God uses all things to call us back to Him. Stop. Be still. Listen. Today, ask yourselfâam I spiritually hard of hearing? Let the Holy Spirit do a heart check and lead you back to the place where Godâs whisper can be heard again.
