Psalm 24:3 asks who may ascend the hill of the LORD and who may stand in His holy place. The immediate subject is access to God's sanctuary, and the answer emphasizes purity of hands and heart. The psalm later calls for the gates to open before the glorious King. The verse itself does not explicitly predict Christ's ascension into heaven.

Acts 1:11 records Jesus being taken into heaven, while Philippians 2:9 describes God highly exalting Him and giving Him the name above every name. Christian tradition has often read Psalm 24 in relation to Christ's victorious entrance into heavenly glory, especially its later language concerning the King of glory. That is a fitting typological and liturgical application, but Psalm 24:3 should not be presented as a direct prediction of Acts 1. The New Testament establishes Christ's exaltation independently, while the psalm provides rich imagery for understanding His entrance into God's holy presence.
