John 12:13 records the crowd welcoming Jesus with cries of "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" and identifying Him as Israel's King. Revelation 5:8-12 expands the vision to heavenly worship in which people redeemed from every tribe, language, people, and nation praise the Lamb as worthy. Neither passage quotes Psalm 72:17 directly, but together they display the universal honor anticipated by the royal psalm reaching its Christian fulfillment in Christ.
