Biography

Genesis 10:27 and 1 Chronicles 1:21 list Uzal among Joktan's sons. Scripture gives no independent narrative about him. Later attempts to identify his descendants geographically are historical reconstruction rather than explicit biblical biography.

Biblical Significance

Uzal's significance is genealogical among the descendants of Shem through Joktan.
