Serug was a descendant of Shem, son of Reu and father of Nahor in the genealogy leading to Abraham.
Biography
Genesis 11 places Serug between Reu and Nahor in the post-flood genealogy. First Chronicles 1 and Luke 3 also include him in ancestral lists. Scripture records no independent narrative about him.
