Put the son of Ham, one of the three sons of Noah
Put, or Phut, was a son of Ham in the Table of Nations and ancestral name associated with a North African people.
Biography
Genesis 10:6 and 1 Chronicles 1:8 list Put among Ham's sons. Later prophetic passages mention Put among foreign peoples and military forces. Scripture provides no personal narrative for the ancestral Put.
