Nahor was the son of Serug, father of Terah, and grandfather of Abraham.
Biography
Genesis 11 places Nahor in the genealogy from Shem to Abraham. He became the father of Terah at age twenty-nine according to the Masoretic text and lived afterward while having other sons and daughters. He should be distinguished from his grandson Nahor, Abraham's brother.
