Buzi was the father of the prophet Ezekiel and belonged to a priestly family.
Biography
Ezekiel 1:3 identifies the prophet as Ezekiel son of Buzi the priest when the word of the Lord came to him among the exiles by the Kebar River. The grammar is commonly understood to associate Ezekiel and his father with priestly lineage, but Scripture supplies no separate narrative about Buzi himself.

Buzi's significance is genealogical as the father of Ezekiel and part of the priestly background of the prophet's ministry. No independent biography is preserved.
