Asiya bint Muzahim is an important figure in Islamic tradition, not a named person in the canonical Bible.
Biography
Islamic tradition identifies Asiya as Pharaoh's wife and honors her for faith in God. The biblical Exodus narrative does not name Pharaoh's wife as Asiya and does not give her the role found in later Islamic tradition. Because this database is intended for biblical figures, treating Asiya as though she were named in Scripture would be inaccurate.
Biblical Significance
This record should be removed from a strictly biblical-figures collection or clearly relocated to an extra-biblical traditions category.
