Ziba
A servant or dependent of Saul’s household who managed Mephibosheth’s estate. He later accused Mephibosheth before David, apparently falsely.
Biblical Usage
Ziba informed David about Mephibosheth and was charged with cultivating Saul’s estate. During Absalom’s revolt he brought provisions to David and accused Mephibosheth of disloyalty. Mephibosheth later denied the charge, and David divided the estate between them.
