A torrent valley east of the Dead Sea, where Israel camped before reaching the Arnon. Crossing it marked the end of the wilderness wandering.
Biblical Usage
Israel crossed the brook Zered at the end of the thirty-eight years of wilderness wandering. The crossing marked the end of that period of judgment and travel.
