WINTER
Winter is the cold and rainy season, also associated in some passages with autumn harvest conditions. The New Testament uses the term for remaining through the winter.
Biblical Usage
Biblical references associate winter with rain, cold, and the seasonal cycle. In Acts, to winter means to pass the winter in a particular place.
