WAIT
“Wait” may mean to lie in ambush, serve or attend, or remain patiently expectant. Spiritually, waiting on God expresses faith, perseverance, attentive hope, and expectation of His salvation or promises.
Biblical Usage
Scripture speaks of waiting on God, his salvation, the hope of righteousness, adoption, and the kingdom of God. It also describes God’s patience toward his people and the service of attendants or ministers.
