Tree of life
The tree of life stood in Eden and represented access to life from God. In Proverbs it pictures wisdom and blessing, and in Revelation it represents the life and joy of God’s redeemed people.
Biblical Usage
After humanity’s disobedience, access to the tree was barred. Wisdom, righteous influence, fulfilled hope, and the blessings awaiting those who overcome are compared with the tree of life.
