Treasurecities
Treasure cities were places where kings stored their wealth and provisions. Pharaoh required the Israelites to build such cities, while Judah also maintained them for royal treasures.
Biblical Usage
They are associated with Pharaoh’s building program in Exodus 1:11 and with Judah’s royal administration in 1 Chronicles 27:25.
