Tabitha
Tabitha, also called Dorcas, was a disciple in Joppa known for charitable works and making clothing for the poor. Peter prayed for her after her death, and God restored her to life.
Biblical Usage
After Tabitha died, Peter came from Lydda, prayed, and commanded her to arise. She opened her eyes, sat up, and was presented alive to the saints and widows. The miracle led to many conversions at Joppa.
