Sosipater
Sosipater was a Jewish Christian and kinsman of Paul who joined in sending greetings to the Roman church. He is probably the same man as Sopater of Berea.
Biblical Usage
Sosipater is named in Romans 16:21. He is probably the same person as Sopater of Berea, one of Paul’s companions on the journey from Philippi after the third missionary journey.
