Shalisha, Land of
The land of Shalisha was a district visited by Saul while he searched for his father’s lost animals. It was probably near Mount Ephraim and may have included Baal-shalisha.
Biblical Usage
Shalisha appears in the narrative of Saul’s journey in 1 Samuel 9:4, as one of the districts through which he passed while searching for the asses.
