Sarepta
Sarepta is the Greek form of Zarephath, the Phoenician town where Elijah stayed with a widow and her son during a famine.
Biblical Usage
Jesus referred to Sarepta when speaking of Elijah’s being sent to a widow during the great famine. The widow and her son were preserved there.
