KING'S VALE
The King’s Vale, also called the Vale of Shaveh, was where the king of Sodom met Abram and where Absalom’s monument stood. It was evidently near Salem, though its precise location is uncertain.
Biblical Usage
Genesis associates the vale with Abram’s meeting with the king of Sodom, while 2 Samuel associates it with Absalom’s monument.
