Jezreel, Portion of
The portion of Jezreel was the field adjoining the city. Naboth owned part of it, and Ahab desired it for a garden before Jezebel arranged Naboth’s death.
Biblical Usage
Naboth was stoned to death in this field, after which the judgment pronounced upon Ahab and Jezebel was fulfilled.
