Jephunneh
Jephunneh was the father of Caleb, the faithful spy from the tribe of Judah. Another Jephunneh was an Asherite mentioned in the genealogies.
Biblical Usage
Jephunneh is chiefly known as Caleb’s father. Caleb belonged to Judah, was called a Kenizzite, and was Joshua’s companion in exploring Canaan. Another Jephunneh appears among Asher’s descendants.
