JEGAR-SAHA-DUTHA
Jegar-saha-dutha was Laban’s Aramaic name for the cairn of witness made when he and Jacob parted. Jacob called the same heap Galeed.
Biblical Usage
The name appears in Genesis 31:47 as Laban’s designation of the witness heap. Jacob used the Hebrew name Galeed for the same place.
