Jabbok
The Jabbok was a major stream east of the Jordan, now called the Nahr ez-Zerqa. Jacob crossed it and wrestled there, and it later marked boundaries involving the Amorites, Ammonites, Reuben, and Gilead.
Biblical Usage
Jacob crossed the Jabbok on his return from Paddan-aram and experienced his mysterious struggle there. The stream also marked boundaries involving Ammon, Sihon, Og, Reuben, and Manasseh.
