Jaazer
Jaazer was a city east of the Jordan in Gilead, assigned to Gad and afterward to the Merarite Levites. It was later mentioned in prophetic judgments against Moab.
Biblical Usage
Jaazer appears in the allotment of territory east of the Jordan, in the organization of Levitical cities, and in the account of David’s administration. It is also named in prophetic burdens against Moab.
