Harvest
The season when grain and fruit were gathered. In Israel it began with the barley harvest around Passover and continued through the wheat and fruit harvests; Scripture also uses it figuratively for gathering people and for judgment.
Biblical Usage
The first fruits of the harvest were presented to the Lord. Scripture also uses harvest figuratively for the gathering of people, the end of the age, the passing of an appointed opportunity, and the execution of judgment.
