Hadadezer
Hadadezer was king of Zobah in Syria. David defeated his forces in several campaigns, including battles near the Euphrates and Helam, and brought the surrounding Syrian powers under Israelite influence.
Biblical Usage
Hadadezer appears in the accounts of David’s wars of conquest. His defeat brought Syrian powers under Israelite service, and spoils taken from the campaigns were dedicated to the Lord for later use in the temple.
