Garner
A garner is a storehouse, storeroom, or granary where goods or harvested produce are kept. In the New Testament, the term is used in the image of the place where gathered grain is stored.
Biblical Usage
John the Baptist’s imagery uses the garner for the place where gathered grain is stored after separation from the chaff. The same Greek word is also translated “barns.”
