Galatians, Epistle to
The Epistle to the Galatians is Paul’s letter defending his apostolic calling and teaching justification by faith rather than by works of the Mosaic law. It urges believers to stand firm in the freedom of the gospel and to live by the Spirit.
Biblical Usage
The letter calls the Galatians back to the simplicity of the gospel, warns against the influence of Judaizing teachers, and urges believers to stand fast in Christian freedom. It concludes by directing them toward life in the Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit.
