FOREPART
Forepart means the front or forward section of something, such as a garment, building, or ship. Biblical translations use it for what lies before or toward the front.
Biblical Usage
The term appears in older translations for the front or face of objects and for what lies before them. In Acts 27:41 it describes the forward part of the ship, while the Revised Version reads “foreship.”
