Exodus

Law & Covenant • Old Testament
The Exodus was Israel’s deliverance from slavery in Egypt under Moses. Through the Passover, the plagues, and the crossing of the sea, God brought His people out with power and began their national life under His covenant.
Biblical Usage
The Exodus became a central demonstration of God’s mighty hand and outstretched arm. The Passover was instituted as a perpetual memorial, and the departure began Israel’s national life under God’s covenant.
