EVOLUTION
Other • Both
A theory describing orderly change in the forms of matter and living things. It does not by itself explain ultimate creation, and the source discusses its possible relationship to belief in God and biblical creation.
Biblical Usage
The theory raises questions concerning the personal God revealed in Scripture, the origin of species in Genesis, humanity, morality, religion, sin, Christ, regeneration, and immortality. Evolution may be held by an agnostic, pantheist, or theist; it does not by itself determine the answer to ultimate origin.
