Ephraim, Wood of
The Wood of Ephraim was a forest east of the Jordan, near Mahanaim, where David’s army defeated Absalom’s forces. Absalom died there during the battle.
Biblical Usage
David’s army fought Absalom’s army there, and Absalom was killed in the battle.
