Ephraim, The Wood Of
The Wood of Ephraim was a forest east of the Jordan where David’s forces fought Absalom’s army. Absalom was killed during this battle.
Biblical Usage
It was the place of the fatal battle between David’s army and Absalom’s forces, as recorded in 2 Samuel 18:6.
